(Lancaster) --Two fast-food restaurant employees are charged in the robbery that prompted a Lancaster County mall to be locked down.
Police say 23-year-old Lamar Eric Reed and 21-year-old restaurant manager Elizabeth Castillo planned the robbery of the Arby's restaurant at Park City Center in Lancaster on Sunday night.
Investigators say Reed propped open a door accessible only by mall employees when he finished his shift, then returned later in a mask and armed with a pellet gun when he gave Castillo a note demanding money.
Lancaster police say Reed told them Castillo was in on the plan.
The robbery trigged a lock down and evacuation of the mall as police searched for the gunman.
Reed and Castillo are both being held on $50,000 bail. Court records don't list attorneys for them.
