TMI to test sirens this morning

(Londonderry Township) -- Three Mile Island nuclear power plant is scheduled to test its emergency warning sirens today.

The first test will be held at approximately 8 o'clock this morning.

The 96 sirens around the plant in Londonderry Township, Dauphin County, have recently been updated withimproved sound output and a battery back-up system.

The upgrades are part of a 13 million dollar project.
