On Election Day, PBS Newshour will live stream election coverage on 6 different channels, including 2 hatcams. The schedule for these stream is as follows:
Main Channel: Tuesday 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.: In-studio interviews with NewsHour political editor Christina Bellantoni and various experts, political insiders including White House videographer Arun Chaudhary on what it’s like on Election Day for the President and his close circle. Also discussions with NewsHour correspondent Hari Sreenivasan and election night anchors Gwen Ifill and Judy Woodruff.
6 – 7 p.m.: Newshour show
7 – midnight to 3 a.m. (depending on the state of the race): NewsHour Election Special After the show: Hari and Christina will be on camera to answer Twitter questions and discuss the aftermath.
Live Studio Camera: Tuesday 6 p.m. – end of broadcast: Live shot inside the NewsHour election studio showing all the behind the scenes action
Hatcam 1 and Hatcam 2: Tuesday evening: Two channels live from DC area Obama and Romney HQs
Speech channel: Tuesday 7 p.m. until speeches are over: Replays of election speeches
Closed Caption stream: Tuesday 6 p.m. – end of broadcast: Closed captions
