PinnacleHealth System continues normal operations during Hurricane Sandy

Written by witf | Oct 29, 2012 2:46 PM

PinnacleHealth System reassures the community that normal operations currently continue at both hospital campuses. We will continue to monitor the situation and work with local authorities to ensure safe access for patients and visitors to our facilities. Parking for patients and families is available at Harrisburg and Community General Osteopathic Hospitals.

"Our medical staff remains focused on providing the best patient care at all times. We are prepared for all emergency situations. PinnacleHealth has the right resources and staff in place to assure the same level of care we deliver every day," says Michael Young, PinnacleHealth President and CEO. "We ask that family members and friends focus on their own safety by staying indoors and following all instructions from state authorities."
Dedicated PinnacleHealth staff remain onsite to maintain patient care and safety amid current challenges caused by Hurricane Sandy. However, we have suspended services at some of our outpatient facilities for safety of our patients and employees. This list, with revised updates, is posted on our website at http://www.pinnaclehealth.org/weather and social media – FaceBook and Twitter.

PinnacleHealth Camp Hill Evening Care, at 4400 Carlisle Pike, will be OPEN from 3 - 8 p.m. tonight. You do not have to be a current PinnacleHealth FamilyCare patient to receive care. The phone number is (717) 737-2858.
