The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has reopened the westbound “express lane” on the U.S. Route 30 Wrights-Ferry Bridge over the Susquehanna River between Lancaster and York counties.
As a safety precaution yesterday, PennDOT closed two express lanes, including the one on U.S. Route 30 and the southbound express lane on the Interstate 81 George Wade Bridge over the Susquehanna River between Dauphin and Cumberland counties. These express lanes are part of the construction projects currently underway on both bridges.
PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to www.511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major highways before heading out.
