PennDOT closes "Express Lanes" on I-81 George Wade Bridge and Route 30 Wrights-Ferry Bridge over Susquehanna River

As a safety precaution, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has closed the southbound "express lane" on the Interstate 81 George Wade Memorial Bridge over the Susquehanna River between Dauphin and Cumberland counties and the westbound express lane on the Route 30 Wrights-Ferry Bridge over the Susquehanna River between Lancaster and York counties. The express lanes are part of the construction projects currently underway on both bridges. The closing of the express lane on the I-81 bridge still provides two southbound lanes for traffic over the bridge; and the closing of the westbound express lane on Route 30 still provides one lane for westbound traffic over the bridge.
