How to report and track power outages during Hurricane Sandy

With Hurricane Sandy approaching, residents are urged to call their electricity providers to report power outages that pose no threat to property or safety.

Hurricane Sandy is forecast to bring significant precipitation and strong winds. Extended power outages are possible.

Residents can use the following numbers to report power outages:

  • PPL: 1-800-342-5775
  • Met-Ed and Penelec: 1-888-544-4877
  • Adams Electric: 1-800-726-2324
  • PECO: 1-800-841-4141
  • UGI: 1-800-276-2722

Residents with concerns that a power outage presents a threat to someone’s property or safety should call 911.
