Written by | Mar 26, 2012 1:38 PM

Met-Ed’s customer service will undertake a major software conversion on Monday, April 2. While the company's contact center will be open normal hours and staff will be available, some aspects of customer service will be disrupted as they make preparations. Met-Ed’s billing system will be unavailable beginning Friday, March 30 through the weekend.

More details about the disruption:

  • All emergency and outage related calls will be taken and addressed throughout the entire time the system is down.
  • Customers calling for non-emergency reasons related to billing during this time period will be asked to call back.
  • A message about this service interruption will be posted on Met-Ed’s website and placed on their phone system.
