In need of some weekend fun? Looking to enjoy live music? Hoping to expand your beer palate?

Well then, you’re in luck! This weekend’s 11th annual Harrisburg Brewer’s Fest boasts live music, good food, and great beer from across the nation.

This year’s Brewer’s Fest will be held in two sessions on Saturday, June 21: the first session starts at noon, the second at 5:00 P.M. (With a ticket limit of 3,500, two separate sessions will help prevent overcrowding.)

If you plan to attend the Fest, buy your ticket now! Tickets to this tasty and entertaining event have sold out in past years. Moreover, there will be no ticket sales at the door. (Or, in this case, at the main entrance at the corner of Second and Locust.)

Individual tickets are $50 and include: beer samples (from participating vendors), a collector’s sample mug, and the live music. Food is priced separately. Group ticket prices of $45 are available for groups of 20 or more.

Tickets are available through Ticket Leap, which means your tickets arrive in your email inbox right after you order them. No more worrying about when or where to pick up your tickets!

Safety First

The purpose of Harrisburg’s Brewer’s Fest is to provide a fun afternoon and a once a year opportunity to sample the creations of up to 50 breweries from across the United States. No one wants the festivities marred by drunk drivers or other preventable liabilities.

That’s why the HBF provides steeply discounted ticket rates of $10 for designated drivers. Enjoy the day to the fullest, but get home safely. No one wants to spend the day after Brewer’s Fest searching for a DUI Lawyer.

Support a Great Cause

Ticket prices seem a little high? That’s because at least half of the ticket price ($5 for designated drivers, $29 for regularly priced admissions and $24 for group tickets) is tax deductible.

Harrisburg Brewer’s Fest supports the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and donates a large portion of ticket sales to supporting the search for a cure. In the past 10 years, the Harrisburg Brewer’s Fest has raised over 1 million dollars in support of the foundation.

Beer, Food, and Fun

Brewer’s Fest boasts participation from local and far distant brewing companies. Attendees will see local favorites like Appalachian Brewing Company, Lancaster Brewing Company and Troegs, as well as nationally recognized brands like Sam Adams and Shock Top. And, of course, what Brewer’s Fest would be complete without PA’s own Yuengling: America’s oldest brewing company. In total there will be over 40 brewing companies from Harrisburg to Seattle, from Maryland to California.

In addition to a bountiful beer selection, Harrisburg Brewer’s Fest also includes affordably priced food. This year’s vendors include Bucky’s Festival Foods, Sherri’s Crab Cakes, and Sherlock Foods.

Live music can be heard throughout the day, with four sets of music in all. During the first session, guests can enjoy the sounds of Funktion and Palm City Ramblers, while second session guests are treated to Andy Mowatt’s 8-string 4-tet and Gleason’s Drift.

Good food, great beer, live music, and a fantastic cause: there’s no excuse to miss it! Buy your tickets today and enjoy one of Harrisburg’s favorite summer traditions.
