I am most comfortable when I am moving. Whether I'm moving my mind or my body doesn't much matter for the most part, though moving the muscles definitely helps to stimulate the mind! I have logged a lot of miles on bicycles over the last thirteen years, racing, touring, and riding, and have worked in the bike industry for the last seven years. I love travel, cycling, hiking, cooking, eating, reading and exploring in all senses of the word, but most especially outdoors. I have called several places home over the years: I grew up in Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C., then spent seven years in Boston. From there, it was Brooklyn, NY for two years, then a year of traveling followed by six years in Phoenix, AZ. In the southwest I found a true home and a magical place that left an indelible mark on me. In some ways, it will always be "home." In December 2011, it was time to leave, so I packed up my apartment and drove back to the east coast to live in Lancaster, PA.
