I have to admit when it comes to choosing wine, I often let others more knowledgeable than I do the choosing. When it comes to choosing the right wine for Passover, I demand an expert's opinion. For this upcoming Passover Holiday, I'm counting on two of my favorite experts. First, Lettie Teague, whose name may be familiar to those Food & Wine fans. She now writes for The Wall Street Journal, and whether you care for her writing style or not, her recent article, The Not-So-Cloying Side of Kosher Wine is an eye opener, both in terms of the historical and cultural information she presents, and to the kosher wine-making process. And then, of course, there’s our favorite wine reviewer/educator Natalie Maclean, with her spot on picks and reviews of affordable wines, including those available here in Pennsylvania.
