Written by Donna Marie Desfor, Culinary Consultant and Chef | Jan 2, 2012 2:51 PM

It seems with the ending of each year comes the lists – looking back and looking forward.  And, though this year I’ve refrained from recapping your favorite Food Section features, I’ve found a list worth a look see.  Cheryl Sternman Rule’s 17 Trends for 2012 is a humorous (though all-too-true-should-we-really-take-ourselves-this-seriously?) list at what we can expect in the next 12 months from our “friends” in the food industry.  Published in the January/February 2012 issue of Eating Well, this list can help you put into perspective how serious you really need to be about your healthy (and not-so-healthy) eating choices in the upcoming year.  Because let’s face it, we still are going to eat bacon….
