Foodie Find: Potter’s Organic Sustainable Crackers

Written by Donna Marie Desfor, Culinary Consultant and Chef | Oct 10, 2011 8:19 PM

It’s not often I make a big to-do about a cracker.  Truth is, when it comes to a terrific cheeseboard or a little platter to nosh on, the cracker can make or break the deal.  Usually they’re not memorable; at best they’re a convenient vehicle to get the good stuff into the mouth.  Until now.  Potter’s Crackers, are whole grain, hand-made and sustainably produced in Wisconsin with local wheat flour, milk and butter.  With 10 varieties offered year round, and a host of seasonal flavors rotated into the mix, now is the perfect time to try (and then stock up on) Apple Grahams, Sweet Potato Onion, and Grilled Corn and Onion crackers.

Potter’s Crackers doesn’t just sell you the crackers, though.  Each cracker’s description is complete with classic tasting notes and suggested uses, but then the site offers up suggested pairings, and a few recipes for cheese spreads.

$5.50 per 5 ounce bag (about 20 crackers) plus shipping; minimum 3 bag order
