Jordan Brown is a 13-year-old World War II buff who embarked upon a campaign to ensure that the WWII vets who served on D-Day are memorialized. This blog follows his journey to Normandy, France to watch the unveiling of the Major Dick Winters monument that he helped raise money to fund.

My hearty congratulations. The statue you helped create will memorialize the D Day veterans for a very, very long time. It is an inspiring piece of art, and your personal example in this effort is recognized, too.
Thanks for doing this for men like my own father, who was also a WW II combat vet.
