8 Kids Games You Can Still Play As an Adult

Having a family reunion can make you remember how fun some kids games are. Whether you're planning a gathering for children or for the adults, these are eight kids games will be fun for any occasion.

Tug-O-War is a fun game where two teams compete against each-other in a game of strength. All you need for this game is a heavy-duty rope and a flag to mark the middle. When the weaker team crosses over to the stronger team's side the game is over. Tug-O-War is a great exercise, too. Once teams are divided equally, the fun can begin.

Telephone Game

All you need for the telephone game is as much participants as you can gather. You can play this game in a group versus other teams, or you can play with a single team. The rules are simple. Align in a straight line. The game starts at one end and finishes at the other end. The first player whispers something to the next player, and then that player whispers into next one's ear, and so on. At the end, last player says out loud what he heard. Usually, it's not even close to what the first person said, and the results can be quite hilarious.

Dodgeball is a game in which two teams compete against each other. You can choose how many members are per team. For each team member, there should be one dodgeball. So, if a team has five members, you'll need five dodgeballs. The balls should be placed in the middle of a court. Once someone gives a signal, teams run for the balls. The goal is to hit as many opponents as you can. If you catch the ball, one eliminated player comes back to the game. The goal is to eliminate every player from your opponent's team.

Musical Chairs

Musical chairs is a game that relies on your reflexes. In this game, participants walk around chairs that are aligned in the center. There is one chair less than the number of players. Participants walk around these chairs while music is being played in the background. Once the music stops, everyone should try to take a seat. The person that's left standing is the loser of the round. After that person is eliminated from the game, one chair is removed and the winners continue competing.

Simon Says

In this game there are participants and Simon. Simon gives orders for you to follow. However, there is a catch. Simon has to say Simon says before saying a command. If a player follows a command that doesn't start with these two words, then that player loses.

Water Balloon Toss

Tossing a water balloon is very fun for some reason. The goal of the game is to throw a water balloon at everyone you can. Another goal is to stay as dry as possible. Water balloon toss is a great summer game. All you need is some balloons and a tap. Fill the balloons with water and give it to everyone.

Trust Fall

Trust fall is a game that is heavily based on reliability. This game is for two players. One player wears a blindfold and the other stands behind them. Once someone gives the signal, a player with the blindfold should let themselves fall down, while the other player should catch them.

Hide and Seek

Most adults can't remember the last time they played hide and seek. It's a shame, because this game is a lot of fun. It would require some space for the adults to hide, so it's best played outdoor in the summer. If you would like to play this game with your friends, it's best to organize a field trip to a nearby park or forest.
