Everyone knows that no matter how much you manage your budget, halfway through your semester extra expenses come up anyway. It can be any expenses like buying new books which has recently been added or expenses for your project work and many others. A student's life is already hard and expensive enough as most of them need to manage work and classes together. Finding a part-time job which fits into your limited schedule is really difficult. There are many small ways with which you can collect some extra money for your mid-semester money crisis period. Some of which are mentioned below:

  • Sell last year's semester books: Students must never assume that the college bookstores are the best place for selling your textbooks. There are many online websites who can offer you a higher return for your books. These websites allow you to scan the barcodes on the books and then sell them to potential buyers online for cash or credit. You can sell textbooks on Booksrun to get a higher price.

  • Moving boxes and furniture: People who are comfortable with and enjoy physical labor can sign up yourself with any website who provide heavy labour for families or businesses. Many companies are looking for an extra hand. They can provide you with a small amount of money, which definitely can be useful for the students.

  • Sell Unused Electronics: In today's world, people upgrade their electronics, may it be their phones or tablet or laptop. Do not throw the used ones out. They can still have some life in them. You could take a look at what you can get in return on sites like Craigslist and Ebay.

  • Make your skills work for you: Many students have different skills and hobbies. Some may like graphic designing, some love to write and many more. Instead of writing and designing for your own enjoyment, you can do the same for a company. There are many companies who pay you money for any services you provide for adding some extra money into your pocket. You will actually make your hobby a way to earn money, which is in fact everyone's dream.

  • Take surveys and test websites: Many students have free time on their hands between their classes. You can also get paid for carrying out surveys and giving feedback on what you are thinking about the website, user interface and other facets.
