As education director at the Goddard School, Lisa is able to support, equip and encourage teachers with resources and ideas. Her work enables infant, toddler, preschool and kindergarten teachers to implement best practices in their classrooms.

It has been Lisa's passion to support young children...that drives her work every day. She has a unique understanding of the needs and powerful emotions of young children. Lisa utilizes the online resource of in the classroom. Her 4 and 5 year old students enjoy interacting with and playing the educational games on the site. And she relies on as go-to resource that aligns with her teaching standards and curriculum. She's come to trust public broadcasting as a safe haven for "edutainment" for her kids. WITF congratulates Lisa Young for her vital community service and commitment to education.
