Contest runs from now through March 31st.

Few things capture a child’s imagination like a good book. Please join witf, WPSU, WQED, and West Virginia Public Broadcasting as we encourage children in Pennsylvania and West Virginia to create their own stories and to take part in The 2014 PBS KIDS Writers Contest.

Contest entrants must be in kindergarten, first, second, or third grade.

Visit the Contest Page on WQED's education page for contest rules and the entry form and return them to WQED with your original illustrated story. You can also find out about all our great prizes!

Grownups, visit our Resources Page for great tips to support your young writer.

Finally, browse through Previous Winners for inspiration for your story!
