PBS Teachers has been recognized as a “Landmark Website for Teaching and Learning” by the American Association of School Librarians, a one-time honor reserved for top Internet sites that enhance learning and curriculum development and encourage a community of learners to explore and discover. As the site evolves and grows, it will become a collaboration hub and professional learning community. Together we will build, use, and comment on content and share best practices for using digital media in teaching and learning.

    PBS Teachers Blog: Media Infusion
Janet English, an award-winning educator and digital media expert, is the new blogger for Media Infusion, PBS Teachers’ popular education blog that focuses on practical ways to integrate multimedia resources and technology into the classroom.

Media Infusion helps bridge that gap between theory and practice. English discusses ways to use multimedia resources to address common instructional challenges and invite readers to share their ideas. Through Media Infusion, English will help educators discover how to create rich, engaging learning experiences for students and methods for infusing their instruction with media to improve learning across grade levels and curriculum topics.
