Harmonica Magic

Written by  Cary Burkett, witf Host and Producer

From classical concertos to sizzling blues, Robert Bonfiglio plays the harmonica with a skill and panache that has earned him the nickname “the Paganini of the Harmonica”. His upcoming appearance with the York Symphony Orchestra will feature a performance of the haunting Harmonica Concerto of Heitor Villa Lobos. Then he’ll join the orchestra to belt out a medley of Elvis Presley hits. In addition, the concert features the famous Poet and Peasant Overture of Franz von Suppe and one of the Hungarian Rhapsodies of Franz Liszt. You can hear our interview with Robert Bonfiglio below.
