Five friends who shared a common interest in painting also found that they enjoyed being together while creating their work. Suzanne Murdza, Ann House, Wendi Wilver, Lucy Heggenstaller, and Elody Gyekis are motivated and inspired when they create work as a group. Some of their paintings share a common theme or use a common palette of colors as a result.

The "Journeying Together" exhibit is on display in the Lowengard Atrium at the WITF Public Media Center from June 16 through August 15. A reception with the artists will be held on June 26, from 5-7 pm.

Then stay for a special preview screening of the new season of Last Tango in Halifax. The award-winning BBC romantic drama series was written by Sally Wainwright, who was inspired by witnessing the happiness her mother's second marriage brought her late in life. Last Tango in Halifax tells the story of widowed septuagenarians, Alan and Celia, childhood sweethearts who have been apart for 60 years. Re-united via a social networking site, they meet, fall in love and marry. Last Tango in Halifax Season 2 premieres on WITF TV on Sunday, June 29 at 8PM.
