Whether it be silly or more solemn, almost every family has holiday tradition that it practices each year. Maybe it's a gag gift that gets passed around to a different family member each year, or maybe it's a cookie exchange. Do you sing the same carols and read the same tales each year? Do you cook a traditional dish for Karamu? Perhaps the young (and maybe not so young) in your family always play the dreidel game after lighting the menorah?
Whatever your tradition is, we'd like to hear about it. Tell us what you and your family does to celebrate the holidays, whether it be Hanukkah, Christmas or Kwanzaa. Please explain why it started, and why it's an important part of your holidays. Who knows, perhaps you'll inspire some new traditions in our households!
