Dedicate a song to your loved one on 'Classical Air' during the Roses Campaign

Written by  witf.org

In addition to sending your loved one roses during our Roses Campaign, you can also dedicate a favorite classical piece or "classic" love song to him or her for Valentine's Day. Your dedication should include the name of the recipient (nicknames are allowed), the title of the piece, the name of the artist or composer and the name of the person giving the dedication. Full names are not required, and secret admirers are also allowed. The dedication can include a message in your own words about the music, or you can simply let the music speak for itself.

Examples:

To Julie K. from Jack: “Unchained Melody" by Righteous Brothers. This is as true today as it was when we first met.

Or:

To Rosa from Your loving husband: “Roses from the South” by Johann Strauss.

All of the dedications will be listed here, and on Tuesday, February 14, witf will play as many of the pieces as possible between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on "Classical Air." Please keep in mind that we will not be able to play all dedications, but all will be listed here on our website as another place to display your love.

Note: In order to hear the dedications that day, you must be listening to the radio, as "Classical Air" does not air on our Web stream.

In order to submit your dedication, please fill out this form.

Don't forget to also send your loved one roses and support witf at the same time. For your contribution of $120, witf will send one dozen boxed, long-stemmed red roses to a loved one, complete with a personalized message. A half-dozen boxed, long-stemmed red roses will be sent on your behalf for a gift of $85. The flowers can be delivered anywhere in the United States. If you prefer, you can also choose a "rainbow" rose bouquet instead of the red bouquet. New this year, we are also offering a special "Wow!" bouquet for $250. This very special bouquet features 2 dozen red, long-stem roses in a lead crystal vase.
