It’s a Gretna Music concert featuring the musicians of Intercultural Journeys, founded by Philadelphia Orchestra cellist Udi Bar-David and dedicated to fostering understanding and peace through music. 

Joining Israeli-born cellist Udi Bar-David are  Jiebing  Chen from China, hailed as one of the foremost erhu virtuosos in the world;  Ricardo Morales from Puerto Rico,principal clarinetist of the Philadelphia Orchestra; and Venezuelan- born percussionist Hafez Kotain, who has perfomed with such artists as Sting and Mandy Patinkin. 

They perform an eclectic mix of music from their homelands and from cultures around the globe, Israeli and Chinese folksongs ,  American spirituals, popular music from Puerto Rico, and classical concertos arranged for their unique instrumentation.

Also on the program will be a performance of the Concerto Latino for guitar and string orchestra by Maya Le Roux Obradovic. The composer performs as the soloist with Sinfonietta Beograd, led by Alexsander Vujic.
