Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer wanted to monitor and maintain studio production, origination and transmission equipment such as cameras, videotape equipment, distribution equipment, switchers, editors, and remote production trucks.  Determine specs and requisitions for new equipment and maintenance supplies.  Perform Operation Technician duties as needed and train employees in operation of production, recording and broadcast equipment.  Assist in remote productions and will be assigned to engineer studio and remote audio and video productions, some of which will be out of town, overnight assignments.  Endeavor to maintain high quality control standards.  Union position.

Associates degree in Electronics, Electronic Technology or Broadcast Engineering experience preferred.  Minimum 3 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Typical shift includes weekends.  Valid driver’s license required.  Class B CDL with air brake certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.  Must be able to climb 70 ft. and endure extreme hot and cold conditions for occasional outside work.
