Internship: Web Designer / Graphic Artist

witf seeks an organized and reliable IT or Digital Arts major who is interested in building his or her resume with a hands-on experience. As an intern, you will assist with website design and graphic creation; produce graphic sketches, design and copy layouts for online content; determine size and arrangement of illustrative material, font and arrange layout based upon available space, knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.

You will interview clients to help them clarify their goals for establishing a website and create or supervise design of digitized images, banners, bullets, charts, image maps and other graphics to enhance appearance of site. Candidates must have knowledge of programming techniques and computer internet systems and be familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash), Flash, Final Cut Pro, HTML/XML, and Web 2.0 Technologies.
