The work of Robert Wertz, the owner of Igneous Rock Gallery, is something he intends to be a conversation piece and also a way to help you relax.

His stone fountains are made from some unusual column-shaped igneous rocks. They come from an area in Washingston state where the rocks form in the ground in long columns with an assortment of colors splotched all over them.

Robert's shop is full of these stones, and he arranges them in striking ways and then plumbs them so that water can trickle out of the tops.

His work will be on-view at the Long's Park Art & Craft Festival this weekend.
