As the witf Lowengard Atrium hosts a display of art created by residents of Bethany Village, who range in age from 73-99, the witf lobby features a display created by student artists from the Londonderry School  with ages between 3 and 14.

The student display showcases 235 pieces of art from 137 Londonderry school students, in a variety of media. Visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorite pieces and fill out a card offering feedback and encouragement for the young artists.

The presentation of the witf Peoples Choice Awards will take place at a reception held at the witf Public Media Center on Oct 18 from 5:30-8 pm.  President and CEO of witf, Kathleen Pavelko, will begin the evening program at six. Stuart Malina, conductor and Music Director of the Harrisburg Symphony, will give a short performance with his son, Zev. Also during the reception, witf volunteers will conduct tours of the station.

This marks the fifth year for the Londonderry student art display at witf. The exhibit will remain on display until December 24.

The Londonderry School is an alternative educational opportunity for preschool through eighth-grade students from the greater Harrisburg area.
