Under the Trees of Old Chautauqua: The Mt. Gretna Outdoor Arts Show

Written by Joe Ulrich, Arts & Culture Desk and WITF Host | Aug 9, 2012 1:12 PM

For many, being at Mount Gretna means being outside. From the Jigger Shop, to the quaint houses and all the outdoor recreational activities, it's fitting that the Mount Gretna Outdoor Art Show is, of course, outside as well.

"We have trees," says Linda Bell, chairperson for the art show, "Lots of trees." She says it's this aspect of the art show that makes Mount Gretna a special place for people to enjoy an art show. Along with the artists' works there's also music, food from local vendors and activities for kids.

The Mount Gretna Outdoor Art Show takes place August 18 & 19th and admission is $8 for anyone age 12 and over. For more information visit www.mtgretnaarts.com
