Ben Allen is witf’s newest reporter and host of Morning Edition.
Beginning November 5, audiences in Central Pennsylvania will wake up to a new voice on weekday mornings. Ben Allen joined the witf news team in October as the new host and reporter of NPR’s Morning Edition.
Ben Allen comes to witf from public radio station KOSU in Oklahoma. Ben has been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists, Oklahoma Chapter for his investigative, government and enterprise reporting.
A native of Springfield, Massachusetts, Ben graduated from Fordham University in Bronx, NY. He had worked at Fordham’s NPR member station, WFUV as a reporter, anchor and host. From there he moved to Oklahoma and joined KOSU as reporter and Morning Edition host.
