witf's Multimedia News Department and witf TV have been honored by the Pennsylvania Associated Press Broadcasters Association (PAPBA) with 13 awards for excellence in broadcast journalism.
DCNR’s Bureau of Forestry is providing a total of 2,000 native white and pitch pine, and quaking aspen seedlings grown at the department’s Penn Nursery in Centre County. witf has announced the latest recipient of the Chronister Internship Stipend, which recognizes excellence in a student working on an internship at witf. Brandon Tymous of Highspire, a 2008 graduate of Cheyney University currently enrolled in the Masters of Public Administration program at Penn State Harrisburg, was selected in April.
